Computer is Dead and Summer Favorites

Mikey dropped Neil's MacBook a couple months ago and it broke and now it looks like my computer overheated and died on Sunday so I am now computer less. Neil has been kind and left his work iPad home the last two days so I can check a few things but I hate typing on it and can't get used to it in general. So we have tot add a laptop to our ever growing list of needs/wants. That list also includes a lawn mower, treamill and trampoline. So there will be few posts and probably no pictures for awhile. For some reason this post is all funky. I hate this iPad. I want a normal keyboard.

Well even though the kids are out of school, summer has started and wee are loving some new favorite things.

1. Lagoon. We have been six times already and are planning to go today after school. We haven't made it to the water park yet but it's beginning to warm up.

2. Trail Mix. We often have food trends in our family and trail mix is one of them. The kids go crazy fir it and are always asking for a handful.

3. Popsicles. It doesn't matter what kind as long as it is frozen. The kids love making their own creations with the various molds I've collected over the years. They even prefer Popsicles over ice cream. To me that should be a sin.

4. Diary of a Wimpy Kid. All four of the kids love these books. Lucy will even try to sneak a book to bed with her. Conner has read all 7 books several times and Sam has read the first two by himself. They are the book of choice for bedtime reading. I'm not a huge fan. I don't think the main character, Greg Heffley, is a very good role model. After reading them passages I have Tom reiterate that,s not how we treat our friends and family.
