Cornbelly's 2011

We waited and waited and the time for cornbelly's finally arrived. We were all so excited. To be honest it wasn't as much fun as in times past for several reasons. First off, we went first went to the jumping pillow. Within 1 minute of jumping Conner was jumping down and landed really hard on his tailbone on the ground. He burst into wailing. From the look on his face you could tell he was in a lot of pain. We were scared he may have broken something. It took a good 10 minutes for him to calm down and then we were done with the pillow. This accident really dampened Conner's spirit and he was very mellow the rest of the night. Presley had misplaced her shoes so I spent 20 minutes running all over looking for them. Luckily they were at the lost and found. That would not have been very fun/safe to have her running around the place bare footed. Between Lucy and Presley someone was always lost. It's understandable for Lucy to run off but Preslely knows better. We ended up losing Presley for 30 minutes. She was nowhere in sight. I was so upset thinking someone had taken her or dragged her off into the corn maze to do bad things which really affected the boys. They began to cry. Neil ended up finding her sitting on a lady's lap around the fire with no clue that she was lost. She definitely needs to be taught about stranger danger. Since we were always on our toes searching for a kid it was hard to have fun with our kids like we did in the past. Other than the before said incidences we did have a lot of fun and here are some pictures to prove it.

Conner really wanted to ride this bucking bull. It was $5. After his fall he wasn't having much fun so this sure brightened his spirit. To see the smile on his face was priceless. Luckily all the other kids were too scared to ride it.

Mikey could have spent all day on this huge pirate ship. He was always there. It was so cute to see/hear him pretend to be a pirate.

Our little knight and sweet princess

The princess playland is surprisingly one of the boys' favorite places to go. They usually have a lot of dress up clothes for boys and girls. We were disappointed to find out they only had one knight costume this year so when you have three boys that doesn't go over well. Sam found these pink capes and just went crazy for them. Mikey and him were so happy with them on. Mikey especially just ran all over the playland pretending he was flying.

The corn box was another favorite especially of Lucy's. She refused to get out of the box. We had to pull her out kicking and screaming.

We stayed until 9pm. We bribed the kids to leave by promising frosties on the way home. I can't wait to go next year and I will not be taking any extra kids with me. Lucy will be older so it should be fantastic!
