Happy 32 Sweetie!

The day after we got back was Neil's birthday. He really didn't want to eat out since we had eaten out quite a bit but rather wanted a home cooked meal of beef stew, rolls and pound cake with chocolate sauce. Since there was no food in the house we all had to go to the store and by the time I got the stew in the crockpot it was 1:30 which didn't leave enough time for the stew to cook properly. The meat was still a little chewy and vegetables not quite done. I also made some fruit smoothies and added spinach. I told the boys it was green slime and they drank them up. Sam spilt his all over himself on accident and it reminded me of that show on Nickelodeon back in the day where you got slimed, can't remember the name. Sorry honey but luckily the rolls and cake turned out. Hopefully we'll get to go out celebrate just the two of us soon!

The boys were amazed at how much smoke those 32 candles let off.
