Images of Greatness

Conner just finished his first big project of 1st term.  I had heard horror stories from parents of years past about how much work it was but I was pleasantly surprised that Conner did it all by himself, except for the putting his board together.  The project is called Images of Greatness and he had to choose an American who was deceased.  Conner had been learning about Morse Code in scouts and was intrigued and so he chose Samuel Morse, the inventor of the telegraph and Morse code.  He spent weeks researching him and then wrote a 10 stanza bioriddle about his life which he had to memorize and recite for their program.  He had to dress up as Samuel Morse.  When he got up to do his part he was just so full of happiness.  He looked as if he could jump off the stage.  He did such a great job and used a lot of expression and even got the audience to laugh.
