Camp Kiesel

The day before we left for Georgia, I got to go with Sam and Conner to their cub scout day camp at Camp Kiesel.  I love getting to see what the kids get to do.  I love scouts and that it gives the boys an opportunity to be with other boys and do boy stuff.
We were one of the first troops there so the leaders took us up to an open field and the scouts started to play some organized games.  A game of tag and the youth leaders asked some of the adult leaders to join in but no one would.  Conner and Sam came up to me and pleaded so I figured why not and so I and the other leaders from our ward joined in.  It was fun and the leaders won almost every game.  I love having fun with my kids!  They thought I was a rock star.

Going through the ropes course.
Getting ready to shoot the bb guns.
Archery.  They let the adults have a go and I could not aim for the life of me.

For the craft they made a lochness monster out of beads.
I am so glad the boys were able to attend camp this summer.  It cut our GA trip a little shorter than I had planned but that was ok.
