Let's just say I've been a little busy with sewing the last couple days. Conner wakes up this morning and asks, "Mommy are you sewing today?"
"Yep I am."
"So, Mommy . . . you don't care today?"
What in the world are you talking about and then it hit me. Usually when I sew the boys can do whatever they want as long as they are being safe. They'll ask if they can watch a movie and I reply sure I don't care. Can I have a cookie? Did you eat your breakfast, well then I don't care. Can I play on your phone. I don't care and on and on and on. I thought that was too funny but made me realize I need to care a little bit more no matter how busy I am. My goal is to get done by Saturday so I have 2 days to get ready for our trip. I still have to find shoes for myself and the boys.

I can relate. And most days I don't care.
Know the feeling. My line is "just a minute" when I'm busy and they ask me something. Sometimes I feel like I'm "just a minute"-ing the kids' life away. Gotta stop that.
