In Mikey's class, everyone gets a day where they get to bring their family and teach the class something new. Our day was on Monday and we knew about it but on Saturday night at about midnight as we were getting into bed, we remembered. We had talked about doing water bottle rockets but both Neil and I were too tired to go to the store to get the supplies. We needed 24 2-liter bottles, and I really didn't want to buy them just to dump the contents down the drain, so on Sunday afternoon I sent out a text to everyone I knew asking for help. We got most of the bottles we needed and gathered the rest of supplies around the house. The kids really enjoyed making their rockets and launching them. Mikey was thrilled to have his family there.
